1. Transfer money to linked bank account via Creditcard Online

You can transfer money from your ABN AMRO Credit Card to the bank account linked to it via Creditcard Online. You can do this using the ‘Transfer to bank’ option. To confirm the transfer, you will receive a text message with a code, which you must enter in Creditcard Online. It can take up to 3 working days for the amount to be transferred from your ABN AMRO Credit Card to your bank account. You will also see the transferred amount reserved in your credit card overview.

2. Transfer money to linked bank account via Creditcard Online

It is also possible to transfer money or top up a balance with your ABN AMRO Credit Card via the website or app of another company. For example, you can transfer money to a bank or investment account or credit card belonging to yourself or someone else. Or use your credit card to top up the balance of a prepaid card or (crypto) wallet.

Transferring money or topping up a balance via another company’s website works almost the same as buying something with your credit card. You enter your details, confirm the payment and the amount is transferred. The main difference is that we may charge fees for transferring money or topping up a balance. This is not the case if you buy something with your credit card.

Fees for transferring money or topping up a balance

We charge a fee for transferring money or topping up a balance with your ABN AMRO Credit Card. We already did this for transferring money via Creditcard Online to the bank account linked to your credit card. From 1 May 2026, we will also charge a fee for transferring money or topping up a balance via another company’s website or app.

The fee is 2.5% of the amount you transfer or top up. This fee is charged afterwards. You will see the fees on your overview in Creditcard Online or in the app. If you have a positive balance on your ABN AMRO Credit Card and the transfer or top-up is fully covered by that balance, you won’t pay any fees.
