Interest and the cost of your card

What are the other costs of your card?

• If you transfer funds from your credit card to your bank account, you pay a withdrawal fee on the amount you transfer, unless it comes from a positive balance.
• You pay a withdrawal fee if you take out cash from an ATM, in other countries as well as in the Netherlands.
• You pay a currency conversion fee if you make a payment or withdraw cash with your card in a currency other than the euro.

Pay in full

If you repay the outstanding balance in full within 21 days of receiving your statement. You do not pay interest.

Late payment and default interest

If you fail to repay the full outstanding amount of the account statement within 21 days from the date of the account statement we will block your Card. If your Card is blocked, we will charge default interest on the outstanding balance, until this balance has been repaid to us in full.

The default interest is equal to the statutory interest for non-commercial transactions which may be found at www.wetten.overheid.nl, “Besluit wettelijke rente” (Statutory Interest Decree). We may also charge statutory collection costs on the outstanding balance. Before we do so, you will first be sent a reminder. The default interest is currently 2%.
