We’re sorry to hear that you’d like to close your account, but of course we’ll help to make the process as smooth as possible. You can cancel your card easily online or by phone. To help us improve our service in future, we would also be grateful if you could tell us your reason for cancelling your card.
Cancelling your card in your account
You can cancel your Card in Creditcard Online. Select ‘Cancel Card’ in ‘Settings’.
Cancelling your card by phone
ABN AMRO Creditcard Services will arrange the closure of your account for you.
Useful to know
- The period of notice for cancelling your card is 1 month. This also apples for your extra card.
- Please tell us the reason for your cancellation. This will help us improve our service.
- We will reimburse part of your card fee, as you have paid it in advance.
- You will receive a letter of confirmation. This will give the date until which you can continue using your card.
